i bought this at the museum today. it is a postcard from the 1935 exposition held at balboa park. despite the fact that i am almost drowning amidst my finals and applying to grad school, i had a truly inspiring day. i got to be around art. and it was one of the most comforting feelings ive had in a long time. every catch light in every persons eye moved me. every brush stroke of heavily applied paint made my heart burst. this is probably why i want to work in a museum for a living.

crazy is trying to get different results from doing the same actions.

im not going to be crazy anymore.
